Schoolhouse

Chamberfield’s one-room schoolhouse lies in the woods east of the town center. Its teacher, Maribelle Sakda, serves a class of nineteen students ranging from age six to thirteen.

Downtown

The main commercial area of Chamberfield sports a farmer’s market, inn, doctor’s office, library, café, bar, and candy store. Most residents of Chamberfield live in or around the downtown. Hound-drawn carriages are common as the small town remains relatively untouched by automobiles.

Railroad station
Chamberfield is serviced by a railroad station with north, south, east, and west lines. The westbound line connects to Lanchester and the eastbound line to Foxmouth. It is managed by the Bagley family.

Forest
Chamberfield is nestled within a temperate forest that becomes hilly in the north populated primarily by maple, birch, and beech trees. Streams run through the forest and a small lake sits in the west. Many woodland creatures inhabit the forest though predators such as foxes, mink, and badgers are not often seen near town. An abandoned homestead stands in the north.

The Brown family live in the western end of the forest in a Neo-gothic cottage surrounded by a cobblestone garden wall.


The Hadzhiev family lived in the denser northern end of the forest in a wooden colonial era house.
