Gloriana, or Ana, is a housewife of Chamberfield who lives with her husband, Charles, and their three daughters: Abigail, Audrey, and Louise. She is close friends with Caterina.
Gloriana mostly keeps to herself and the tending of her family, though she is quite opinionated and elitist in her own sphere, bemoaning the world’s modernization and applauding herself for raising her kittens in the country—whether or not that is exactly true. She often quarrels with her eldest daughter, Abigail, due to Abigail’s idleness. Moreover, she is exceedingly protective of Audrey and Louise.

Trivia
- She is based on the LaPerm cat breed.
- Among the first goals in creating the Lion’s Daughter was to have living and present parent characters. I think Gloriana came out fantastically in this regard and is one of my absolute favorite characters.
