William or Willy is a schoolkitten in Maribelle’s class who lives in Chamberfield. He is the best friend of Henry Appleby, though both are unpopular on account of their social awkwardness, and Willy is often bullied by his classmates for his unkempt appearance. However, he is incredible smart and a skilled fisher-cat, earning him the admiration of Louise.
